True North was responsible for the integration of a large control system and HMI at Encana's Horn River water plant. This plant produced and treated sour source well water to be used in the hydraulic fracturing of gas wells. This process uses large quantities of water, but with the ability to produce and treat sour produced water from source wells, reliance on fresh ground water was removed.
